As part of MCC’s 60th anniversary and #MesaCCLove campaign, I had the opportunity to produce and edit this heartwarming video spotlighting alumni Tony and Diana Occhuizzi. Their story began in 1968 with a blind date in the MCC cafeteria, blossoming into a lifelong journey of love, education, and shared growth. This piece celebrates how college experiences can shape more than just careers — they can change lives. Creating this video was a meaningful way to honor MCC’s legacy and highlight the personal connections that make our campus community special.

My Thoughts

This was such a fun and rewarding story to work on. I loved getting to piece together the visuals and narrative from shared memories to tell a heartfelt story that celebrates the connections formed on a community college campus. Projects like this remind me that college is about more than just classes, it’s about the people, the experiences, and the unexpected moments that shape our lives. Telling stories like this is one of the most meaningful and enjoyable parts of what I do.
